As Bright Sun enters its 31st year, we firmly believe that our focus goes beyond lace production. Next to the lace lies a symbol of unity: the "+" sign, representing the collaboration between you and me. Going beyond our core business of design and lace manufacturing, Bright Sun aims to support various non-profit organizations in their charitable endeavors, leveraging the power of our company to foster a more inclusive and harmonious community.
Among these partnerships, Bright Sun enjoyed a longstanding collaboration with OIWA (Women’s Assocation). The "plus" symbol in our family services is the volunteer team that Bright Sun frequently dispatches. We join "Family Storytelling Project" for the parents and children of the Women’s Association, and actively participate to promote interaction and strengthen family relationships. Recognizing that the next generation is the future of society, Bright Sun invests significant resources in children and youth activities. For instance, we organize art workshops for children and provide annual sponsorship to the Tung Chung Vigorous Marching Band, established by OIWA, offering training and performance opportunities to develop the untapped potential of primary and secondary school students.
Despite the challenges posed by the raging pandemic and the need to maintain social distancing, we organize online storytelling even when children are confined to their home, they still can feel the warmth of our volunteer team. In the face of harsh realities and the unfortunate distancing between individuals, Bright Sun remains determined to bridge the gap and extend care through countless "small pluses," maintaining a compassionate commitment to serve.
